It's a futuristic society with strict rules and strict people. Each person is born with a specific destiny represented by a locket that hangs around their neck. Each time a person makes a choice that leads to their destiny, a stone appears that fits perfectly into the locket. Anastasia May was born with two lockets- two possible destinies. She is what society calls a "Double" and the Council says they're dangerous. Dangerous enough to be taken from their families and locked behind doors in which only rumors escape. Anastasia must live a secret and quiet life, careful not let anyone know who or what she is. Because if anyone found out, she could be captured and it could be the end of her destiny. What will she do when her world comes tumbling down and the the rules that once kept her safe are the very things that are putting her life in danger?
