They encounter Lucifer, demons, angels, and their past as they continue, learning about everything they never knew, and finding out new things about their parents, and themselves. Where the story leads, they don't know. Ending in tragedy, love, or happiness, they don't know. What their goals is, they don't know. I suppose they are just winging it at this point.
