There she was,12 year old Maddison,walking home from school. This wasn't her first time at this but for some reason this time felt different,scary almost. Everyone was gone,no one was driving or walking,there was no sign of anyone around. When she got home,everyday her mom would be in the kitchen making dinner,but this time,her mom wasnt home. Her dad normaly works anyway so he wasnt there along with her two younger sisters and older brother. Everything was normal at school,but as soon as she left the building everything changed. She decided to go outside to her back yard,which was woods. She had built a fort where she could just sit and think,but is was way off in the woods.

Since the day that a girl was able to walk, she wasn't normal. Everyone knew it. Her parents never let her meet new people and even her aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents were never allowed to visit. The small girl never thought anything of it, so she thought it was normal to be secluded. This was all to protect her. She, however, needed to begin school and with her parents needing to take on new jobs, they were forced to send her to a school. Sent to a private school, her supervisors were given specific instructions on the care of their child. The girl meets another child. He feels the need to protect her and succeed where others have failed. He shows her what life is really like and opens the doors to many opportunities for her. This is the story of (Y/N)...
