There she was,12 year old Maddison,walking home from school. This wasn't her first time at this but for some reason this time felt different,scary almost. Everyone was gone,no one was driving or walking,there was no sign of anyone around. When she got home,everyday her mom would be in the kitchen making dinner,but this time,her mom wasnt home. Her dad normaly works anyway so he wasnt there along with her two younger sisters and older brother. Everything was normal at school,but as soon as she left the building everything changed.
She decided to go outside to her back yard,which was woods. She had built a fort where she could just sit and think,but is was way off in the woods.
