The small boy ran, scared of the woman, scared of his powers, scared of himself. He ran until he couldn't feel his legs, he ran until he felt nothing but his own sorrow.

He collapsed to his knees on the ground of the forest he had ran to, sobs racking his body and his mind and vision a blur.

"Mama," He whispered hoarsely. "Mama, what have I done to you?"
