When 14 year old Brooklyn Shila "Brook" Manks almost drowns her life is saved by an unknown force and she soon realizes that the force did more than save her life. Now she has to learn to master her newfound powers all while keeping them a secret from her high strung mother and visiting Yalie sister. Luckily things start going her way when she meets Terra Parks, a 17 year old girl with powers similar to hers who offers to help her learn how to control them but things are not as they seem. Strange symbols start app reading all over town and the news has taken an interest but only Brook's dead father holds the key to understanding what they mean. Soon Brook and Terra decide to team up with local shy guy Gale Richards and wealthy son of entrepreneur parents Egan James, who also began exhibiting strange powers after their own near death experiences, to follow the same path that Ken Manks followed 14 years ago but will the team of 4 get more than they bargained for when they reach their destination? A Mage's Wrath
Two hundred years of peace have passed in Zertima, a land filled with magic, creatures, and mages. However, after those two hundred years comes an era of fear, fighting, and death. The Venom's Curse, known as the world's greatest danger, has climbed up to reach a level of great power, with the help of his fierce hunger for battle and commanding, that is strong enough to possibly secure his rule of the entire mage world. In order to save Zertima from potential collapse and eternal perishing, four young mages are found, called the Elemental Mages. The Mages - Water, Earth, Fire, and Air - are taken to a sheltered location named the Mage Sanctuary to train together and prepare for their eventual battle with the Venom's Curse and to rid of the trepidation he has cast across all of Zertima. However, not all of the Mages are willing to commit their life to train with the others and help save the mage world. Ignacia, the Elemental Mage of Fire, is the newest and last mage to be Founded and come to the others. Aqua croaked out in a hoarse voice. "Yes, Aqua, it's me. Don't worry I will get you out of here." Terra reassured as she began to gently help Aqua sit up. "Terra, where is Aura?" Aqua asked in a raspy voice. Terra paused and thought for a minute. Where was Aura? "I don't know. She actually led me here, but I don't know where she went."
