Gage Connory has always lived at the house at the end of Willowbrook Lane in Cambridge, Minnesota. He grew up with the same bunch of kids since Pre-K. He's gone to Baker High School for the last nine years. The only new thing in town since Sally Reed got her ears pierced in the fourth grade is the new neighbors across the street.

Adelynn O'Shea has never stayed in the same house for over a year. She's never had a best friend. This year, she's moved into a house at the end of Willowbrook Lane with her dad. Apparently she's starting her sophomore year in September, but she isn't planning on staying anytime soon. In fact, she's ready to hit the road running- right out of the town gates and away from everyone.

When Gage and Adelynn's lives cross, neither of them knows what to expect. Gage thinks she's a bit crazy and keeps hiding something from him. Adelynn thinks Gage is a stubborn, hotheaded guy who can't keep a secret to save his life.

As time passes, Gage starts to realize that underneath her sharp, defensive exterior, there is a traumatized girl dying from the inside out. And he just might have a way to save her...
before her time runs out.

My body needing him. Sophia Carrington. She just moved from New York to California in search of a new life. When her life took a dark turn she's forced to leave everything behind.
