Imani is just a girl who is focused on schoolwork. Being a freshman in college, it is important to be all about her education because it will dictate the rest of her life. She doesn't date, she's never had a boyfriend. She has a small circle, she's really not one for socializing. 

However, her rowdy roommate has company one night and she encounters the irresistible Barrueco DeLuca. He's hot, he's chill, and he is mysterious. Imani doesn't think about boys, but she cant help but think about him. Barrueco definitely shakes up her life in ways that she cannot imagine.
