"Hey, Am?" A knee shuffled to touch mine, I felt his body heat intertwine with the sleeve of my hoodie. Why was he so close?
"Am?" How does he know my name?
"Please say something," I could hear the tears in his smile, he struck me as the person to pretend to be ok, the hum of his voice told me so. "Please, Amya."
I cast my eyes to the heavens - or what I thought was up, little lights flickered down at me. I think I'm dying, only angels could run so definitely towards me. The lights span and span, in rhythm to my mind. Where am I? Who is this boy?
"Breathe." The lights turned to one, oh how I wish I could bathe in the dark again. It was too bright here. And so this time, I willingly let myself fade away, the light hurt so much but I couldn't help thinking;
I know this boy.
But I suppose that's a matter of opinion - like most things in this world.
