As she stepped close, I could see the anger in her eyes. "It's all your fault he died Kayleann! You killed him! You stupid little brat! Just go die in a hole because you'll never be worth more then a decaying corpse!" She slurred every word and I could smell the alcohol on her breath. She was just inches from my face now. Before I knew what hit me, she turned the beer bottle in her hand and smashed it upside my head. The contents that had still been in the glass ran down the side of my head, mixing with the blood that slowly oozed out of the gashed the glass caused. I looked up at her in fear and I knew my journey was finally over. I was in hell and staring right into the flaming red eyes of the devil. -------------------------------------------- Kayleann Thompson had a childhood that many people dreamed for. A loving father that cared for her like she was a puppy in the palm of his hand. A mother that looked into her eyes with compassion and truth, every time she told her she loved her. A brother that would protect her with his life. But her world turned upside down on her seventh birthday. Now the only thing she can hope for is some food to eat and a night where she can sleep peacefully and not worry about the monsters under her bead.
