"How long will it last?"
-
Jenn Spencer hates her life at the moment. Everything seems to be going wrong lately. Her father has left her family behind for a woman half his age. Her beloved dog, Astrid, died when she ran into the middle of the street. All she wants is for bad things to stop happening to her.

And then there's her boyfriend. Jenn doesn't even really want to date Peter. He thinks he's better than everyone around him. Yes, he's rich, but that seems to annoy her even more. According to her mother, Peter is the most perfect human being on the planet and Jenn's lucky to have him. She feels forced to be in a relationship with him since he's the first guy her mom has ever liked.

Peter has asked Jenn and her mother to go on a cruise with him over the month of July. Before she even had the chance to answer, her mom jumped up and accepted immediately. Great! It's probably first class and full of rich, arrogant brats (Note the sarcasm).
