"You know, I've always been curious about you."

Cordelia sprung backwards, stretching a hand outward to flip herself back over to face the enemy.

"I mean-" he lunged forward, taking a swipe at her with a sharpened blade. "The Golden Armor Alchemist, Cordelia Earl, one of the youngest State Alchemists around."

Cordelia dodged another attempted stab, then reached a hand out and grabbed the arm that had the weapon, disarming him while securing him.

Despite his position, the man continued to babble with no fear.

"I bet you don't even know who you really are past those names, do you?" He asked, his mouth opening into a malicious grin.

Cordelia tightened her grip, making him wince. "I know who I am." She stated nonchalantly. "I am Cordelia Earl, Golden Armor Alchemist. Nothing more, nothing less."

A laugh erupted from the man.

"Oh, but you are so much more, darling."

He leaned in close, lips positioned next to the girl's ear. "You are the dragon, the tiger, health, sickness, life, death, whatever you wish to call it.

"You are either the savior of Amestris, or its destroyer-"

He took in the shocked look on her face.

"I suggest you choose wisely, girl."
