Fading into time
BASED LOOSELY ON THIS PROMPT: A long time ago, every human had wings. When you were born, they were white, but they changed to all colours of the rainbow given what kind of life you live, from a light yellow to a dark blue. However, in this time, only stumps are left, coloured in a muddy grey. No one remembers why humans left their wings, and no one cares anymore. Eseosa used to see him. As time went by, she noticed that she got to see him more than once. She longed for him, she dreamt of him, dreamt of a past she never remembered living. But, she knew she couldn't keep thinking about him. She needed to move on. Twelve years went by, and She hasn't seen him anymore. Until, he stands right before her eyes, and she wants nothing but to never lose him ever again. Xiao Chen thought the same thing too. All he could do was smile at her when he would spot her at random times. Who was she? Why did he see her so often? Dream of her, and of a past he never remembered living? This is a sweet but short story about Two individuals who had a very tragic love story, luckily for them, they've reincarnated into who they were meant to be 100+ years later.
