You wake up, but this time it feels different, but the only thing that has changed is you have nothing left to live for (except your sis) and you're going to die. We never stood a chance against the aliens, now there's less of us than there is them, the 4th wave, silencers, They hunt you down and murder you, they aren't human and they certainly don't have mercy. I can't protect my sister from the world but the dead once whispered about a camp called Wright-Patterson, a safe heaven. Hopefully they have enough room for one. I lied to Kate, I told her we'd both be there but she's going no matter what. I've had too many promises broken, and I can't break my promises now.
"Kate I'll always love you." said smiling down at her.
"Me too sis." She said as a hugged her goodbye.
This world doesn't have room for the weak and broken. There are some things a sister can't teach her sibling and I just hope Kate survives.

I smiled as I watched my closest friends be happy. That's all I've ever wanted, right? Make those around me happy, but it's hard sometimes.
