Lilac Worthingshire wasn't royal material but she was servant material and she knew it. Obedient and agile, young Lilac bravely sold herself as a servant to a rival kingdom at the age of 17 to keep her family from being killed. Upon arriving at the castle, Lilac is assigned to become the prince's new serving wench. Over the period of 3 years, the prince's sexual frustration and dry spell get the best of him, leaving him to take advantage of Lilac. Upon revealing to Lilac his desire and supposed love for her, Lilac finds herself falling for the decieving prince. She doesn't realize anything strange about the way the prince had been acting until it was too late.
