I ran as fast I could
I wasn't going to stay with my parents anymore after the way they'd treated me for so long and I knew that once I left they wouldn't look for me. I would rather be in the street's then live with them which is where I ran to. As soon as I got to town I manage to find shelter in a alley way that had a large card board box i could be in for the night since rain was coming down hard.
Staying awake to make sure no one else would try to grab me i'd watch car lights drive by often till a car stopped outside of the alley way and I see two officer's.
"Why are you out here kid? don't you have a family?"
"No i don't" if i said i had family they'd take me back i rather die then go back
"Okay why don't you come with us we'll take you somewhere safer then here."
They picked me up and ended up taking me to Happy Camper Orphanage
