Identical twins, Evelyn and Lilian, were the best of friends when they were little. They did everything together, and knew every tiny detail about each other. But after high school, they grew apart and soon became very different people. Each moved to a new city, found new friends, and lived new lives, separated and distant from the other.

Years later, after Lilian's brutal murder is left unsolved, Evelyn moves to the last place her twin lived in an attempt to know who her sister had been. She soon finds that Lilian had many surprising, twisting secrets, and some of them were deadly.

Not long after moving to the new city, Evelyn uncovers some shocking discoveries, and soon faces the same horrors that pursued her sister. Will she uncover Lilian's murderer? Or can Evelyn even survive what Lilian couldn't?
