Kohana doesn't have a last name. At least, that's what everyone says. Since she was young, she's lived at the hospital with the staff as her family. She has a nasty combination of diseases known as Hemophilia and Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome. More than anything (save for Daiki Akiyama, her best friend and brother-figure), Kohana adores music. Some call music "The Universal Language," and Kohana agrees with this verdict wholeheartedly. To be able to invoke emotions and tell a story, sometimes without a single word, is just one of the many wonders of the world in Kohana's eyes. Kohana has always been fragile physically because of her infirmities, but she's also very emotionally weak. She wears her heart on her sleeve and truly wouldn't hurt a fly. This is a recipe for disaster, especially when her only experience with people her age is with the other children at her hospital, whom are equally liable to break under mental or physical pressure. Throwing herself into public life surrounded with hundreds of others starting her first year in high school just adds to this terrible mix. Kohana's life is a prime example of Murphy's Law: "Everything that can go wrong will go wrong." Will fragile Kohana find a way to get through high school without shattering, or will this glass dove lay in thousands of pieces on the ground, surrounded by thousands of words unsaid and/or ignored? ~*•*~ This is actually two fanfictions in one, following two different story lines after the first few chapters (GDA and GDB). Both are Kohana×Mori. ~*•*~ 2018 Notice: Due to the absolute workload of college, updates will be far and few between. Did not anticipate this when I started the story tbh; spent longer working on it than I meant to and wasn't really planning on college until I was already enrolled.

A 17 year old Naruto Uzumaki moves to a small town called Konoha in Japan to live with her estranged godfather and godmother. The foster care system that she was placed in ever since she was 13 years old due to her parents death, located in the United States, finally found a place for the teenage girl. The kids at her new school seemed to welcome her with open arms, despite how foreign she looked compared to them. A great contrast to her old school peers who never talked to her and looked at her with pity and disgust as if she was some freak. Never having a proper family, she feels a little strange staying with her godparents but quickly got used to it. And then on her first day of school, during lunch she was informed of the Hyugas. A family that seemed to foster kids into their family as only two of them looked related. However she was only interested in one of them. Although all of them looked awfully pale and in dire need of sunlight, the one with jet black-purplish hair that was cut slightly tapered at the sides with messy bangs. What really interested her was his eyes, a very odd lavender color. It wasn't like his relative, who seemed to look blind compared to him. And most of all, when their eyes connected from across the room. Unknowingly making the extroverted blonde's heart race uncontrollably, suddenly feeling like prey in front of a predator. ††††† Genderbend AU/ModernAU/VampireAU/FantasyAU Inspired by the Twilight saga movies
