Tom Morfin was a highly peculiar boy. He grew up in an orphanage in Essex, London. He didn't  have a last name, but he did have a middle name, so he used that as his last name. On Tom's 11th birthday, a letter arrives, stating that he was accepted to a school called Hogwarts.

Overjoyed at the news of being a wizard, Tom emerses himself in learning magic. 

Unfortunately, while Hogwarts has been repaired, no amount of magic could repair the damage within the students. What small bonds the houses shared have now been severed. 

The Slytherin are constantly discriminated against, while the Griffindors rule the school with the arrogance of a pampered prince. Ravenclaw just seems to be there for the education. The Hufflepuffs know there is a problem but they do not have the respect to make a change.
