It's the year 5023 and Amerilus (formerly the United States) is now a powerful nation, comprised of two kingdoms: Forron, in the east, and Angelea, in the west.
An eighteen year old Prince Losate is the youngest son of the King of Angelea and set to wed Princess Shaia to improve relations between the two kingdoms. Even though Losate knows that he is not in love with Shaia, he is willing to marry her, for he knows that it is what's right for Angelea, and all of Amerilus. However, when Losate has an unexpected encounter with Shaia's beautiful younger sister Sage for the first time, he soon discovers that his willpower might not be as strong as he once thought. He soon learns that his actions are not simply his own and the smallest act could be grounds for deception, chaos, and war.
