Last night, my shadow exploded into hundreds of fluttering black birds with wide wings and sharp feathers. I watched as their wings were cut off and they were shoved in a cage, only to wake and find myself in a cage myself, surrounded by lunatics and criminals. Day in and day out my cage restricts my organs until my lungs are the only part of me still fighting to breathe.
That is when I met Katherine Pierce.
It is said that people with like minds are drawn to each other. For a moment I thought she was like me, a Phoenix, waiting to ignite into flames only to rise from the ashes. How could I have known she'd have no issue setting me on fire just see the shadows that lurk behind her?
Katherine Pierce is a liar and a manipulator, using people for her own personal gain.
