Haphephobia is a rare but often devastating phobia. It's the fear of being touched. Imagine the second someone touches you without warning you immediately cringe and vigorously rub that area until you can no longer feel it. You just want to roll into a ball and cry. Anna has had a rough past causing this. Her best friends and a couple of her teachers know about it. It haunts her everyday, how she can't let people close to her unless she is comfortable with then even then she doesnt like them touching her. It causes a panic attack. philophobia- fear of loving or becoming emotionally connected with another person. Dannon Miller, the boy who has a fear of loving or being loved. He runs when the word is mentioned. Dannon has never experienced it before. One project on fear brings them closer together. They have to face their fears head on together.
