Lily is an orphaned teen, living in a Forster home in Nevada City, California. She is so close to not being a ward of the state anymore. Seventeen with the dreams of a child, she is going to get out! Though fate doesn't always seem to care about ambition, they are brutal enemies in fact.

What will happen when she meets Splendorman?

Love is often a tricky thing, a confusing thing, even a selfish thing. There are some that say you can't be completely happy because the imaginary scales of life will become unbalanced, and fate will compensate with tragedy. But it seems this girl will not stand for loosing any of her bliss, and that just might be her undoing.
