Loneets are Rebels, taking over the United States. Taking younger citizens, selling them in the new human pet shops and using them as slaves, or trophies. Adair's sister, Payton, is taken captive after a raid in their small town, forced to live in a cage. Adair takes it upon herself to travel with a group of five across the country just to get her back. There have been many encounters with the Loneets on the way, and one by one, the group members either get killed or captured. Will she be able to make it without getting captured herself?
