Black Gold

Rhene has always known she is a misfit among others with her too tan skin and hazel golden eyes. She meets traveling bounty hunter Hex and begins a journey of self-discovery and a way home. She helps him escape from criminal charges in exchange to travel with him. Hex is on the hunt for a thieving merchant and they find themselves tangled in a web of dangerous goods called black gold.
