I was staying with my dad, because my stupid mom had to go to Paris with her friends for vacation knowing I start school this year. New Girl
"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. Every morning i wake up dreading the day ahead. You wanna know why? It's because of the bullies. Listen, i didn't want them to know I'm gay, and i don't know how they found out. I'm just lying here in stillness and darkness wondering why. Why did this have to happen to my mom? We have nothing we can't even afford a house. Here I am a 14 year old boy that lives in a shelter home. Mom says one day we'll get out. But I've lost all hope. And I know my mom has no hope either. If she did I wouldn't have to hear her cry herself to sleep at night. I hate seeing her in so much pain. I wish, I could get a job. Maybe since I'm younger and a boy they'll hire me. Who am I kidding? My mom's in her 30's she's not old either. Sometimes the idiots that run this place kick my mom out for the night because she's making too much noise after hours. My mom was crying; is that too hard to understand? I hate this place. Well, tomorrow's our first day apart since summer started. They're forcing me to go to high school. I'm okay with school but I don't want to leave my mom alone in this world. Well, I guess there's a better chance of me getting a job if I'm in high school. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. Lunch went by pretty quickly, and we were back to classes soon enough. I'd forgotten to get a book from my locker, so I quickly went to get it. I was leaning on the locker next to mine as I quickly scanned my schedule on my locker door, when warm air fanned the side of my face. "Move." Being the excellent human being I am, I jumped out of fright, flinging the heavy calculus textbook in my hand backwards. I heard a grunt and turned to find the person behind me now hunched over as they held onto a part of their face. "Oh God! I'm so sorry!" I panicked. And then he looked up. The first thing I noticed was his short, dark hair. It looked so smooth, and I almost reached out to play with it. My eyes trailed down to his strong jaw line, down to his broad shoulders. I didn't even realize that I was biting my lip as I further inspected the Adonis before me. His arm flexed, bringing my attention to the amber eye he was now covering. It was him. Six.
