This story is a fan fiction based on the popular movie The Hobbit. It takes place a short while before the movies actually begins. It is focused on a mysterious woman that finds her way into Mirkwood Forest and eventually standing before the elvenking of Mirkwood himself, Thranduil. Learns of the woman's dark past and is conflicted on what exactly to do with her. She casts a spell over him that is stronger then love so that he can not do away with her, like the he would normal to anyone that was a threat to his people, but is it really the spell that is killing him from killing her? how do the others take to her being there? This story is much more then a story of romance, it is fear, power, excitement, and filled with magic both light and dark.

Being the middle sibling, Aearon knew her life would be full of struggles; she would not inherit the throne nor would she allow herself to be paraded around for others to admire. At a young age she decided she would give her life purpose by swearing an oath to protect the Falmari people, she would become a warrior and fight alongside her brother to protect her people from the threats of middle earth. A routine patrol escalated and Aearon soon found herself separated from her brother and the rest of the Teleri forces, pursuing a group of dark creatures that tormented her lands. While carrying out her duty, Aearon found herself at the mercy of the cold Prince of Mirkwood and King Thranduil himself. Finding herself locked in Thranduil's dungeon, the she-elf soon finds herself becoming friends with the most unlikely of creatures who steer her life on to a whole new path. Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. Will she allow herself to become compromised by her feelings or will she continue on her journey to prove herself. Either way, she will do whatever it takes to keep her word and help her friends while avoiding another stay in King Thranduil's dungeon, much to his displeasure.
