Corrine is a foster child who has never been in the same house for more than a few months. But, her new family, the Carroways, are different then the others before them. Soon after her arrival, Corrine gets caught up in the murders of three people she has never heard of before, or so she thought. Tragedy and heinous events begin to unfold one after the other and as suspicions arise about the Carroways and their new daughter, can Corrine keep her composure or will a threat from her past make her crack under pressure?

Aiden is overcome with a powerful intuition to go somewhere, to look for someone, but the problem is, he does not know whom he is looking for. This so called "gift" of his could land him in over his head and cost him it as well. But I guess curiosity killed the cat.
