Lily was just your typical 16-year-old not-so-innocent girl until
her mother passed away and left her with the only person she could consider a father figure in her life, her brother Luke. She had never pinned him as the fatherly type, though he did act as the protective man in her life throughout the years when their own biological father had left them to fend for themselves.
With Luke just graduated from college at the age of 25 and having to act as a legal guardian for his hormonal younger sister, will he be able to create a stable home for them both and keep her from being taken into custody of the government?
Or will things spiral out of control when a hazy drunken night sends Lily into even more trouble than she can handle?
(WARNING: This book contains heavy profanity and mature scenes. Highly disturbing themes, depression, self-harm and other disturbing features are contained in this book. Read no further if any of the parts bother you.)

The Girl Who Made Life Worth Living by xlittleplantx
11 parts Ongoing Mature
Finn has been the man of the house since he was a child. Simply surviving, he doesn't want any more responsibility than he's already burdened with at 18 - until he helps a mysterious abused girl he met near his new workplace. His caring and protective nature quickly brings her into his life but their budding relationship falls apart just as fast, until an incident and the subsequent events make them slowly come back together. Later, when Finn loses the only other thing he cares about in life he's faced with the choice of driving her away or being vulnerable enough to depend on her. Maybe she can finally make him feel taken care of back; the one thing that he's always truly needed. A more mature and healthy rewrite of a book I started writing when I was 14, inspired by the trashy, dramatic, emo love stories I was obsessed with on this platform a decade ago. I was dealing with a lot at the time so I came up with this book idea, where both main characters have dramatized aspects of myself in them, as a way to make myself feel lovable, so writing this now is a nostalgic and creative way of looking back, processing, and letting go of the emotions I was going through as an adolescent. I hope you enjoy! CONTENT WARNINGS include: regular profanity, descriptive sex scenes, minor sexual assault, minor gore, familial abuse, verbal and physical abuse, childhood trauma, tragically orphaned, absentee father, forced maturity, anxiety issues / panic attacks, neglect, starvation, descriptions of thin female body, legal trial of abuser. * Warnings may be edited as I write this. * Any new warnings will be put at the start of the new chapter including them, so don't worry.

Will Luke be able to accept the existence of demons in time to stop one from destroying his campus? More importantly, will he come to terms with his fate or choose to ignore it? All he ever wanted was to have a normal life and fit in like every other college freshman, but hands spontaneously igniting and evil demons attempting to wreck havoc are anything but normal. "The world is full of monsters with friendly faces and angels with scars." If Luke accepts who he's meant to be will he ever recognize the person he was? *** This Book is Completed!
