The Quiet Hills is a place where Dan Howell would stay in the afternoon, for as long as he can. There are a few hills, and none of those hills contain any plant life except for grass. But, on the hill in the middle, a Willow tree grows.

Every afternoon, a boy named Dan Howell would bring a book, a different one everyday, and sit under the willow tree, reading his book.

One day, in the middle of the night, a boy named Phil Lester sits on the opposite side of the tree.

or, Dan likes to read and Phil loves stars.

Warnings : swearing, mentions of self-harm, abuse, and character death

Disclaimer, or whatever it's called: I, have no intent of telling you, the reader, that Dan Howell, and Phil Lester are dating/romantically liking each other. This is fiction. Also, I don't own them, obviously. You technically can't own people... unless they're slaves, I guess.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
