I've been on the run for three years. I'm not the first, but I certainly won't be the last. For as long as I can remember, I had been experimented on, drugged to the brink of insanity, and tortured by someone I thought was my family. Boy, was I wrong. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. Little did she know his visit will be soon and blood curdling.Complete

As a pretty sane person I knew that ugly incomprehensible things happened but somethings came at you so unexpectingly that you did not even know how to react. Fairytales often painted step parents as these evil beings that did such unimaginable acts which ended up affecting our everyday lives but it wasn't like that with my mother's boyfriend. At least that's what I thought until I found myself somewhere else with a father I knew nothing about, a band that wasn't really a band in my eyes and a past so heavy that going to sleep meant drowning in the horrors of a summer that was meant to be the best time of my life.Complete
