"Ms. Hess, I am not at all sorry to say that you have failed for the third time in a row in your Math quiz", Mr. Smith told me with a snarky grin.
I opened my mouth to defend myself just when he said
" And I am glad that the Principal has denied you promotion based only on your extra corriculars.."
At this my mouth dropped open. I was in serious trouble.
"Despite my repeated warnings you didn't improve. Now it is upto you as to how you want to help yourself."
