Alec Lightwood gasped for breath. Instead of air he found only water, and coughed violently, trying to dispel the filthy liquid. He instinctively tried swimming upwards, searching for the sky. There was an intense pressure clouding his skull, and he was getting tired. The little light he had faded darker as his vision turned black.
 
Allison Argent and Her father, Chris, are suspicious of the boy they pulled out of the river. Gerard claims he has angel blood, and yet he has no memory of where he was before they found him, or how he traveled from New York to California.

Where has Alec been? Where is his family?
