"A guy isn't going to care if you're laughing with a dude," he said. "You laugh with friends. You do this with someone who is more than friends." Wolf placed his hands on my waist, pulling me in flush with his body. He dipped his head to my ear and whispered, "See? No one that looked at us right now would think we're friends." ------------------------------- When Savannah's long term boyfriend, Tripp, breaks up with her out of the blue before their annual summer lake vacation, she's devastated. Enter Wolf. He's the son of her parents' best friends, who happen to share a connecting lake condo. Savannah hasn't seen Wolf in two years since he stopped coming on family vacations. He's notorious for trouble, the exact opposite of Savannah. Wolf shows up one day and suggests that they pretend to be in a relationship during their two week vacation. He's convinced that his mom's adoration of "good girl" Savannah will change her mind about his recent house arrest. In exchange, Wolf suggests Savannah can use their fake relationship to lure Tripp back by making him jealous. Savannah is hesitant, but is just desperate enough for Tripp's attention that she agrees. Spending time with Wolf on their pretend dates becomes a problem when Savannah begins to have feelings for him. After all, Wolf is off limits. Her best friend has a major crush on him, and Savannah is supposed to be with someone sensible like Tripp, not the lead singer of the high school rock band, Wolf and the Midnight Shepherds. In the end, Savannah will need to decide if falling for Wolf is worth the consequences.

"Give me a reason to stay that won't piss me off." "Stay... so you can hurt me as much as I hurt you." "You're not afraid of what I might do?" "To me?" "Yeah, to you. Know what I dream about every night?" I offer in hopeful tones, "My tits?" "Try again." "My ass?" Scowling, Dax shakes his head. "Making me cry?" He nods and finally smiles. "While ripping your heart out." ✘✘✘ Everyone at school knows that Cleo Fitzgerald is to blame for putting her boyfriend, Fairmont High's golden boy, Travis Reynolds, in a coma, and they hate her for it. Bitch has shown no remorse over causing her boyfriend's accident. There are even rumors that she's cheating on Travis while he's unconscious in the hospital. When an outsider, Daxton Cole, enters Fairmont's social scene, he befriends Cleo's brother, Brookes, and is immediately drawn to Cleo despite her reputation. She's nothing like the psychopath everyone paints her out to be. The two troubled young lovers strike up a brief but fiery romance that ends in heartbreak when Travis wakes up from his coma. After graduation, Dax joins the military, and Cleo returns to Travis' side. Years later, Dax has yet to forget Cleo. He learns that a traumatic event has triggered Cleo to act out in violence against Travis. After Cleo is committed to a mental institution, Dax gets himself hired to become a guard there. As Dax is forced to follow Cleo around day in and day out, he begins to notice troubling cracks in the veneer of Cleo and Travis' seemingly perfect relationship. Old feelings begin to resurface, and Dax realizes that Cleo's secrets have secrets, and she needs him now more than ever.

Imagine lying to your entire school. Imagine being someone you're not. Imagine risking it all for someone you love. Erin Burkley loses her beloved older brother, Trevor, to terminal leukemia in late August. Prior to his death, Trevor, and his best friend Riley, has been accepted to attend their dream school: West Montgomery Private, famous for their rigorously intense curriculum; however, Trevor never gets the chance to live out his dream. Inscribed in his will is a simple request: let Erin attend Montgomery in his place. Simple enough... except for one petty little detail: it's an all BOYS school. With Riley's guidance, Erin must learn how to go from 'Erin' to 'Aaron' as she tries to live her out brother's dreams. Tangled in her web of lies, Erin risks getting caught and jeopardizing her chances of attending Harvard in the future. But, she loved her brother more than anyone in the world and is willing to risk it all. This heavy secret would be easier to keep, though, if she wasn't attracted to the ever-so-many charming male students at school. Slowly, ever so slowly, Erin finds herself falling for Riley but at the same time, some of her male roommates seem to be falling for her. Regardless, Erin swears to herself she'll never turn into a dude - as ridiculous as it sounds. In order to survive this dog eat dog school, she's just going to have to act like a lady and think like a boss.
