Aurora Mikaelson has grown up with her mother travelling and with very few people really knowing who she is. Aurora won't use her powers unless someone pushes her too far which is practically all the time and she is very impulsive one of the downsides of being her fathers daughter. But on her sixteenth birthday ball she goes to far and her being fed up of her step fathers perverted ways she kills him which leads to her moving to Mystic Falls with her father Klaus Mikaelson and his girlfriend Caroline Forbes.
