The rule in the spirit kingdom is, believe or be believed in.
What's the difference between the three of them, really?
But humans are not ones to leave things as indefinite as faith alone.
And spirits fade beneath the spotlight of reality.
Believing in someone means giving them power over you. And the man in the moon uses that power to survive, at all cost.

Pitch is not on board with being consumed by the man in the moon.
There is only one way out, if he can only convince the guardians to help him.
