❝Hitch your wagon to a star.❞ -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Clark Jones's uncle just died. Having to juggle the loss of his closest family member and high school, Clark struggles to find the rainbow in life he encourages others to chase. He just wants to run away to Cape Canaveral with his best friend Maya where they can live their dream of working at NASA.

While Clark struggles with the loss of his uncle, Maya Edwards deals with her own issues. Her dad is a drunk, her mom is a drug addict, and she faces bullies at school because she wears whatever the hell she wants-mostly Halloween costumes. Her quirky personality helps Clark get over his loss through their friendship and mutual love of the stars, but what happens when their feelings become more?

Their new relationship is a difficult transition, but they're willing to work through their own pain to create something wonderful. Promising Maya the universe, Clark tries to give her the life she deserves. Adventures happen, secrets come out, and a loss larger than his uncle's shakes the lives of these two teens that fall in love under the stars.

The past should stay in the past. At least that's what most people thought and Korn and Mew were no exceptions. Their past, rife with misunderstanding, had led to their breakup and a fistfight or two. That should have been the end of it. A lesson learnt and a heartbreak left where it belonged. Until a chance encounter, far from home and far from everything familiar, led them back to each other. Did this mean they had a second chance? Or was this their third try? If it did, was it for the friendship they had lost or for all the love they never got to share? -Excerpt- "Why are you so willing to take the blame for shit you didn't do?" He asked. "I didn't." Except perhaps he had a little bit. "You're better than that. I've seen how hard you work." "And you would know what that looks like." "I know what a lot of things look like but I wonder if you do." Korn was short of patience already. He didn't need to play games. "Go home..." "Do you know how to be loved?" "Go find someone else. I don't deserve that." "You don't deserve to be loved?" Korn realized what he'd accidentally said. "What I meant is, you deserve better than I can give you. Find someone like you...I don't deserve you." 14 February 2022 - 19 April 2023
