This is an idea that I thought would be fun to write and publish for people to enjoy.
It is very similar to the highly successful Maze Runner books and that's where I got my inspiration from.
Every chapter I make is edited but there are always some errors, please let me know if there are so I can fix them.

The Island

We're Still Alive(Book1)BEING REWRITTEN
This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. This is a TMR fanfic. A Newt x fem!Reader. (Sorry to everyone else about the pronouns) I'm not going to give a ton of the plot away, but why don't you just try the first chapter and see what you think? If you don't like it, no biggie! Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
Newt x Reader
Being the only girl in the Glade is hard for Y/N. She works in the kitchen, does the laundry, and hates both. To make matters worse, Gally never passes up an opportunity to antagonize her. Thankfully, she has her best friend Newt to support her and keep her away from Gally. But one fateful night changes everything, and Y/N may never be able to look at Newt the same again. *btw this is a CLEAN story, but fyi "clean" doesn't mean boring, it just means not dirty, so please don't ignore this story on account of that* This is my first story on Wattpad, but not my first TMR fanfic and certainly not my first story. I've been writing since I can remember and I am currently 17. Conquer the Wasteland
*Prologue* To be entirely honest with you, I never really considered my future. It's not like I needed to...right? Why would you care about jobs and your educational success when you could be scavenging for food, perhaps? I mean what use is your academic future in the apocalypse? Dramatic right? As I sit here, writing this down, I feel a little pathetic. Although the chance that someone would read my story is incredibly low, I can't help but feel a small glimmer of hope that someone will find it. It would become an instant best-seller! Who wouldn't read the first-hand account of a zombie apocalypse survivor? Even if that day were to arrive, I can guarantee that I won't be alive to see it. The world is a complete and total mess and we are the only ones to blame. Why do you ask? Well, why don't we take a trip down memory lane? Part 1: The Games
This adventure/love story will be split into different parts. It's the hunger games and maze runner combined! I've never had time to write a book and since I've been quarantined and stuff I figured it would be a good time to make one of my dreams come true! There has always been one winner. Now the sun has started to scorch the earth and the game creators have been more desperate than ever to start the games. The majority of the quotes are from the movie. All of the characters belong to Ms. Collins. Maddie is the only character that is my original. All of her thoughts are also original.
