Outside of the Walls

Violet de la Silvestre is living in what's left of the world that is infested with the living dead. After growing up outside of a Quarantine Zone, she is left with nothing but a promise to the corpse of her best friend. When she finds herself entering the Walls of New Albans she befriends the community outcast, Jesse, and finally falls into a routine that she can handle. But this is soon torn from her when Jesse leaves the safety of the Walls in an attempt to earn well-needed silver, the main source of currency.

Violet meets Jesse's brother, Jordan, in an unlikely event following Jesse's departure, and the two decide that they will find Jesse and bring him back, no matter what the cost. They head Outside the Walls with only Jordan's knowledge of what is beyond them, and put their lives at risk as they travel across England in search of the man that protected them both.
