A silence decends upon Earth. Clocking at -12 decibles. A silence so dence that a heartbeat could be heard from miles away. A silence so unreal that a mortal body could not survive under the conditions for more than 34.6 minuets, or their ears would give out from exaustion after trying desperatly to find any sign of the slightest sound. Then a bang. A loud bang. A bang so mighty that one would feel their ribs and heart and brain shaking from the explosive soundwave that had just peirced the silence like a knife cutting through air. And the heads turn. They turn towards the source of the sound that is genorating such a thundorous blast. And they see the cloud. And the explosions. And they run. To where? No one knows. 

 

There death was inevitable.

Almost everybody knew her, she was famous for having accurately foretelling the falling of a small meteor that would burn a hole through Earth's moon. Only when the actual event occurred did people pay attention to her warnings. But now her predicament was different. She knew what would happen, but she wanted to alter it. She hoped against all odds knowing that it was futile. Seeing was tricky. If you saw something you know it would happen, but then what was the point of seeing if you couldn't do anything about it. So here she was, trying to change the outcome of what she saw. One day she sat down on a swing and rather moodily kept tossing the salted nuts from her bowl to various targets in sight. One such Target was her bookshelf. She had just tossed a nut at a rather large book when she noticed that it held an invitation. She pulled it out and turned out to be her cousin's wedding card. It had been a while since the event and they were still childless. A sudden thought Wave struck her as she pinged her cousin.

In the modern world, humans are the ones in control and live all over the planet. Living on all continents along with various animals ranging from various animals both on land air and water. With the planet consisting of humans, their imaginations range far and wide creating various things for them to enjoy. Of course, some of the imagination can lead to rather odd fantasies, which can gather a lot of folks. The technology has progressed rather far along with the lifestyle of humans.....until a disaster struck. A famous technology company had the intent of creating a teleportation device allowing them to travel to the other side of the plant in a matter of seconds. The initial test seemed to be going rather well with multiple people easily going through it but an unseen electric surge changed everything. The portal started to go out of control causing one of them to exploded while the other one started to suck in everything around it. As one of the individuals was sucked through the portal, his body was reverted to that of a newborn child with all of his memories intact. After exiting the portal and landing safely in a thick forest, he saw that he was in the dead of night. Scared and confusion filled him as he had no idea where he was but what came the next morning utterly shocked him. After falling asleep upon arriving, he woke up and found himself in an odd house that he didn't recognize. As he tried to figure out where he is, the door opened as who entered was a woman with long dark hair......and a set or rather long bunny ears. Not only this, there were two other small infants sleeping next to him with one of them clinging to him. What is this world? Who are these people and what are they? Are there any other humans out there besides him? The answer lies with the passage of time.

Maybe one day she'll remember who she was and maybe she'll even find the one person that completes her soul. From that day forth she became a Nightwalker. Completed. Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.

However, the massive impact of the meteor is so powerful, that despite redirection, explodes huge, which causes the radioactive rock, to burn everything within a one hundred-mile radius, destroying the facility, and leaving Aaron and his team to be presumed dead. Forty-two years later, now in 2076, Austin along with James and Julia emerge from the now empty and inactive cryogenic pods, which kept them alive, and not aging at all. However, the world as they know it is in turmoil. With technology and machines becoming sentient, and taking over the world, most of the planet is now a dry and barren desert wasteland, with seventy-give percent of human population now extinct. Austin and his friends see, they are now pitted against strong malicious AI and evil machines, along with mutated former human creatures that succumbed to the gamma rays in the atmosphere. Along with acceleration in climate change, and technological progress, humans are now reduced to smaller settlements to survive and battle for resources. With the impossible size of the universe, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is life beyond just humans out there. Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived. Almost since the beginning of the universe itself has it existed; a biological monster that would destroy and consume anything in its path. Planets, asteroids, entire stars even; whatever got in this things way wouldn't stay in the way for very long. It was a repetitive existence until one day the abomination met its match in the form of an absolutely enormous star. It ended with a draw that sent the abomination rocketing off in a random direction away from the place it had been consuming for so long. It traveled for millions upon millions of years before finally coming to a stop just outside of some odd new planet brimming with life. Along the way through space, it gained awareness of its surroundings so it was now able to choose what to do with this odd planet. Consume or Explore . . .
