Raya Fairchild was just your everyday fifteen-year-old girl living in New York City, with one notable exception. She was an orphan. Loki Laufeyson (or Odinson, depending on the day) was not your typical Asgardian, and he, like Raya, was orphaned at a very young age. Now he is duelling with the whole of asgard on planet earth, but due to his history with the lively city, he has to live under the watchful eye of the avengers. When the young girl, and the broken god finally meet, they find in each other something they never thought they would have again. A family.

Hey guys! So this is not a Loki Love Story. At least, not in the romantic sense. Now, this story starts before Ragnarok but most of it happens after. You'll see what I mean. Disclosure: I don't own any of marvels characters, but Raya is my creation, and a few other original characters will make it in here as well, but credit must go to marvel.
Feel free to comment with ideas, constructive criticism, or if you feel so inclined, compliments. I know that there will be typos, and I apologize in advance for those, but if you feel a need to point those out, go ahead. I read every single comment, and try my best to reply to all of them as well. so please, please comment as you see fit.

I took his hands in mine frantically, causing his eyes to meet mine. "Then hand over the Tesseract and come home, Loki. Please." "I can't." He pulled away. "If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. "I still love you." ___________________________________________ (Y/N) Ísveig thought she'd made peace with Loki's death. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him for everything he had done, obviously, but she was finally beginning to live the life she always wanted. She was no longer deemed future queen of Asgard, and she was slowly learning to control her amplified ice powers. That is, until the god of mischief decides to attack New York and steal the Tesseract. Now (Y/N) must again face her inner demons as her powers quickly deem too much for her to handle, and all her feelings for Loki resurface even though she forces herself to see him as the enemy. After returning from Asgard, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Dean Allen stays busy to keep his mind off of wondering when Thor will return. But when a very familiar enemy arrives on earth and steals an object of vast comic power, the safety of the earth is challenged. Loki's aspiration to enslave earth with an army from the far reaches of space spurs S.H.I.E.L.D. to enact the Avengers Initiative. But will this team come together...or be torn apart?
