This story is about a teenager being sent to space to prove to the world that the USA can explore space and the planets in it with a strange twist.  No not aliens but Russians and evil space diseases and Hunter (main character ) is stuck in a Russian space jail where they treat him like shit and he thinks that he must escape.  But worst of it all the world has fallen into nucular war and everyone on earth is either dead or mutated.
