Katniss and peeta are best friends since age five (Peetas a little bolder and more protective while Katniss is a little more loving) they love each other. Always. That's what Peeta says to her. They'll always be together. Until an accident makes it where Peeta is taken away to a community home where kids are never seen again or until there not kids any more. That is if they can survive the hard labor and horrible living arrangements along with harsh punishment. Katniss and peeta haven't seen each other for eight years. Maybe. Just maybe, the Reaping was a good thing.
