Renee Anthes lives with her mother and younger brother in California. She is a hardworking student, who loves to read, write, and go out with friends. But one day, a mysterious duo moves into the vacant home next door. A devastatingly gorgeous guy and an old, harsh woman. They both seem to hate Renee and avoid her at all costs. But then strange things start happening to Renee, in which she is always able to link to the mysterious guy next door.
