I am currently re-writing this story. I ask any new readers to please be patient towards any confusion that may occur or inconsistencies in the story during this process.
"The Royal Ranger: A New Beginning" sheds light on Will Treaty, 18 months after the death of his wife, Alyss. This fan story precedes that book, right after Alyss' death. In "The Mottled Widower," we join Will in mourning his wife, and his quest to avenge her.
