Mackenzie Fall as been through 18 years of torture and abuse by not only her so-called father but by her mother as well. When her father bruises Asher, her little 8 year old brother, she snaps. They run away from the bitter cold Maine to heat year-round Maimi. Since her father is a head chief police officer, she has to change her name and apperance. So she is now called Alina Green. She has to work two jobs, live in a crappy apartment and deal with the annoying, yet handsome, Jace Taylor.
Jace Taylor is Greenwood High's 1 player. He only does it to annoy his parents,though. They pressure him to be a big- star quarterback and only that. The only problem is....Jace wants to be an artist. When Jace meets Alina(Mackenzie), he thinks she is just another girl. But he finds out there is something more behind the sarcastic and not-so-caring person she claims to be.
