There has to be something you work for and strive for everyday, something that motivates you to keep moving forward. Right? Maybe it is a boy or girl you are chasing after. It could be your grades or the college/university you want to attend in the future. Maybe you just want to make your parents proud. Perhaps it’s all of those things. But what happens when all of the things that motivate you are suddenly gone? Do you find the strength to move on? Or do you find new inspiration? For Lanie Johnson, it was none of those things. But what happens when a new boy comes into her life? Cameron Jackson was a new kid at Lanie's school. He finds her interesting and tries to break down the walls she's put up. He wants to help her. Will she open up to him or push him away just like she did with her other friends? Will she save herself from the damage she's doing to herself?
