Rosalie Quinn is West Ridge Academy's resident "trouble-magnet". Her specialty: drawing herself to dilemmas in over her head and getting out of it through sheer dumb luck. It doesn't help that he lives just two houses away from her.

	But fate is a comical thing (and danger lurks everywhere)....

	One night, home alone, Rosalie's concord was abruptly cut short when her neighbor's house was set on fire. Worse, she finds the man she utterly tried to evade bleeding and asking for help in her front doorstep. Without warning, she is thrown in a catastrophic and callous world wherein her soul is heftily chased after. Finding no way out, she tentatively joins the Mathers to shelter her remaining sanity. Soon, she embarks on the most inconceivable dilemma: to cut down Tartaros' Thirteenth Heir,  Astarte. 

        But what happens when her existence itself becomes a lie and she begins to lose herself? Can her infamous 'luck' still save her from it? Or will she completely succumb and fall into the abyss?

I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!"
