Gutted by Life

The events in the story I will write from this point forward happen two years after Celeste and Jesse's divorce was final. Both have been going on with their lives and have to see each other occasionally at their mutual friends events.

Celeste has been through many different boyfriends none of which have stuck. She tells herself it's not because she's still in love with Jesse, but she's really only pushing down something deeper.

Jesse is dealing with being the father of a two year old, and not really knowing his wife on a level he's used to knowing someone.
