The large mansion with ten feet tall fence surrounding the property had been intriguing local teens for years. Partly because the house was like no other on the block and partly because no one was sure who lives there. Over the years young guys and girls have been dared to enter the house looking and provoking the person who hides themselves away in the home. Those brave enough to enter the house have never returned. What is going on here? Rumors have started about how the home belongs to a serial killer or even a cannibal. The home remains a mystery until Jessa Carpenter is dared to enter the house. Will she be able to solve the mystery of the house or will she too become another victim?

Do you trust your instincts, or follow those of someone more powerful, more knowledgeable than you'll ever be? *** A mass explosion at the ghost portal house sends Avery and Jamie running off, thinking the world is safe from the malevolent creatures in the basement. But they soon come to realize that not only were those creatures likely released into the world *thanks* to the explosion, but they found their way out snug and cozy inside their intended vessel, Jessamine. Jessamine... who is *not* dead as they thought she were. Avery is forced to team up with the unpleasant Guide, Ada, to determine the next steps in saving the world from a demonically possessed Jessamine--if it's even possible to stop her. The demon door was opened, but some demons have remained behind, and it's on Avery--the "wild card" of the prophecy--to go inside and ask the questions no one wants to ask: what do the demons plan on doing to the world, and how? And is there any way to prevent them from realizing their malicious goals?
