It's May now. The spring flowers are slowly blooming and I'm slowly dying. I sleep most of my days away. I've given up on my classes. I'm simply too hungry to focus on anything else.

I can't remember the last time I've eaten.

My friends are gone, my mum is afraid of me, my brothers are terrified. Just the other day, the youngest one, Isaiah, cried to me on the phone and he told me something. He's scared. He doesn't sleep anymore because he has nightmares of me.

Dying.

Every. Single. Time.

I can't remember the last time I've eaten.

And as I lay in bed tonight, I'm simply wondering if maybe this is it. If this is the night that I,

Don't.
Wake.
Up.

Nevermore. {An Anorexia Story}

9 parts Complete Mature

Anorexia. Something nobody believes could ruin them until it's far too late. Ivy is infected with the thoughts of anorexia. This is her story as she gradually loses herself to her mind. This story is meant to remind people of the reality of anorexia, it is a glorified disorder that is truly horrific and it takes the life of many people every year. If you or a loved one is struggling with an eating disorder get help immediately. The longer it goes on, the harder it is to get better and the more likely it is that you or they will die or suffer long term complications. Resources are available at places like the NEDA Information about eating disorders can be found at: https://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/what-are-eating-disorders And treatment options can be found at: https://map.nationaleatingdisorders.org/
